Thanks guys.
Just a word of advice to anyone planning on doing swaps with BOB, BOB II, or OMG heads; be prepared to trim the neck stem/bulbs. The socket on the DAK bodies isn't very deep. While that makes for easy head removal, it complicates adding new heads to the mix. I had to trim nearly the entire bulb off in order to get the neck to sit flush with the torso. I suspect any of the heads from the current release should interchange without too much fuss.(this is an educated guess based on the new figures I've encountered ths far. Arty Spotter, US Bazooka guy).

The hanomag looks so real that for a second i did not realised that infact it was a custom paint job!

I figured as much, but wasn't entirely sure. For the record, the 251 Ausf D Hanomag wasn't produced until after the North African campaign either. So it's all good.

Nice work, I like it.
About your side note...I've noticed that 6 of the 7 German figures have that insignia, the Otto (camo) figure is the only one without it.
The insignia is called the Gebirgsjager (mountain hunter) arm badge. The flower is Edelweiss the yellow you see around it represents mountaineering rope. It was issued to all qualified members of army mountain troop units.

I didn't know that, I had to look it up.

very realistic posing of the figs, dunno squat about german equipment during the north african campaign, but it sure looks good
