I can comment on the "modeler" side of that comment. I started off building scale models LONG before these types of display pieces had been available. When I picked up the first 21st offerings (P51 and 109) and put pictures on one of my 'net haunts (plastic model site) they were greeted with comments like "nice toy" and "I only display things I build". Now here we are some 6yrs later and on these same sites, guys go crazy over the 21st and BBi offerings, many of which followed my lead and now customize/super detail these pieces.digger wrote:I rather they send freebies to those who are not yet convinced - Model boards, Joe Boards, WWII collector sites...etc...
