I miss those daysnormandy wrote:The Wal I found them in on Sat. had 8 of each which was 24 for total. This was the same number as the Platoon figures when they came out. Back in the day this WalMart would have 5-6 peg full of XD.
Where are the 3 latest new figures from 21st ????

Saw them at a Wal-Mart that I don't usually go to. I picked up the assault gunner. I'm very pleased with all of the figures though, but I could only afford one so I got the I guy I really wanted.

So true. As usual, the 21c goodies are showing up in the midwest and upper south, just like every other time. Oh, yeah, and if you live anywhere in the southern states or the midwestern ones, stop complaining about not finding the newest 21c figures. Remember you have been one of the first to find the Target 21c items and the IJ figures. You will probably also see those new 21c figures in the next few weeks. Compared to Olifant and I, as well as some pockets on the eastern seaboard, you've found more items in the last month than we have seen in the western states for the past six monthsolifant wrote:Thanks for the heads up jagdpanther!![]()
Now Tman and I can sit back and complain for the next 12 months when we can't find these....![]()
Luckily Fritz Osternoh can keep us company. They breed like rabbits on the pegs up here!

I stopped at another Wally world this AM for paper towels and did a little recon. They only had the Baboon(platoon) figures , so I asked the manager about why no restock. She said that in 2 weeks the whole toy dept. was going to change with new stock added, but she didn't know about the 21st C items

Saw two of the new German rifleman figs today at WM. Also an Afrika Korps artillery spotter that was new to me.
I got the rifleman today, (Sat). What is up with the dark skin coloration? Were there that many Mexicans in the German army because I see a whole lot of figures with dark brown skin tones. This guy isn't as bad as some of the Wehrmacht figures I've seen but still. And the DAK guys have that blotchy radiation burn skin. 21st needs to get it right already.

Pretty much. The DAK guys have sort of a pasty skin with red spots all over. I had been seeing nothing but dark skinned German and US single carded figures at WM for some time now. I had hoped they would have fixed the problem with the new figures but no such luck. They just can't seem to get it right, the Platoon figures are a horrid chalky peach almost pink color and I didn't buy even one because of it.cranedriver wrote:All the ones I have seen are very dark toned just like the DAK figures.
I'd rather have the old school Series 1 Bulge style skin with flesh colored plastic instead of these half-ass paint jobs.
Here is a quick picture of the new rifleman, Bruno Bauer. He is a bit lighter than the neck and hand you see below which used to belong to Lt. Odheim. As you can see, those are very dark.

Platoon Figures
I'm pretty sure they're restocking on the Platoon figures down here.
They appear to be multiplying.

The only thing I found good about the platoon figures was their heads and even those had a peg that was too narrow to fit the WWII figures properly and had to be modified
They were also tinted a bit on the orange hue( maybe from exposure to Agent orange
). I bought a few sets of them, swapped heads and sent them off to a board member that models VN era
