I did the western division recon(has best WMs for 21st stock) and no luck. BUT I did find a half dozen Brunos and a few DAK guys

That's new to WMs down here

So I'll see if I can match 'em up with some of those new SW figures I got today and a couple sawed off Wrestler heads

Saw them at a Wal-Mart that I don't usually go to. I picked up the assault gunner. I'm very pleased with all of the figures though, but I could only afford one so I got the I guy I really wanted.

Now Tman and I can sit back and complain for the next 12 months when we can't find these....
Luckily Fritz Osternoh can keep us company. They breed like rabbits on the pegs up here!

So true. As usual, the 21c goodies are showing up in the midwest and upper south, just like every other time. Oh, yeah, and if you live anywhere in the southern states or the midwestern ones, stop complaining about not finding the newest 21c figures. Remember you have been one of the first to find the Target 21c items and the IJ figures. You will probably also see those new 21c figures in the next few weeks. Compared to Olifant and I, as well as some pockets on the eastern seaboard, you've found more items in the last month than we have seen in the western states for the past six months

That is excluding Star Wars and GI Joe

My WMs still have the Platoon figures and the tanned Dday figures. Only one WM near me (and it's out of the way) has anything different, and those are the Bruno Germans, and the DAK spotter and submachine gunner.
I looked at the trap, Ray.

I stopped at another Wally world this AM for paper towels and did a little recon. They only had the Baboon(platoon) figures , so I asked the manager about why no restock. She said that in 2 weeks the whole toy dept. was going to change with new stock added, but she didn't know about the 21st C items

Scored all three new figures today at the Wal-Mart in Kilgore, TX. Just dumb luck I stopped in on the way to Arlington. They also had the Vietnam and Dak 2-packs as well.
Good luck guys that is what got me mine.

Saw two of the new German rifleman figs today at WM. Also an Afrika Korps artillery spotter that was new to me.
I got the rifleman today, (Sat). What is up with the dark skin coloration? Were there that many Mexicans in the German army because I see a whole lot of figures with dark brown skin tones. This guy isn't as bad as some of the Wehrmacht figures I've seen but still. And the DAK guys have that blotchy radiation burn skin. 21st needs to get it right already.

Pretty much. The DAK guys have sort of a pasty skin with red spots all over. I had been seeing nothing but dark skinned German and US single carded figures at WM for some time now. I had hoped they would have fixed the problem with the new figures but no such luck. They just can't seem to get it right, the Platoon figures are a horrid chalky peach almost pink color and I didn't buy even one because of it.
I'd rather have the old school Series 1 Bulge style skin with flesh colored plastic instead of these half-ass paint jobs.
Here is a quick picture of the new rifleman, Bruno Bauer. He is a bit lighter than the neck and hand you see below which used to belong to Lt. Odheim. As you can see, those are very dark.

I'm pretty sure they're restocking on the Platoon figures down here.
They appear to be multiplying.

Hopefully it's a WM sickness that is curing itself here in our area Stug

I see less and less of the Baboon figures and more and more DAK and Brunos now. Soon when they run out it'll be the 3 newest figures

The only thing I found good about the platoon figures was their heads and even those had a peg that was too narrow to fit the WWII figures properly and had to be modified

They were also tinted a bit on the orange hue( maybe from exposure to Agent orange

). I bought a few sets of them, swapped heads and sent them off to a board member that models VN era

That's what kept me from picking them up. Evidentially, everyone else in my AO felt the same way!

So these started showing up in the east and have been working there way west? How far have they got so far? I see Wisconsin and Missouri, along with the first sighting of New Jersy and New York. Some in Mississippi too. I wonder how long it will take to hit California?
