What should I buy?

Post by Col.Pickle » Thu Aug 09, 2007 3:52 pm

I just sold some stuff on eBay for about US $40. But I have no idea on what to spend it on (in terms of toys). Any body know some good stuff in 1/32nd scale that I can get for $40??? I have been thinking of getting the FOV 105mm howitzer but other than that I have no idea. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

I guess it depends on what your desire is..
Are you an aircraft guy??? If so, you can get 2 32x planes for $30+/-
Are you an armor guy??? pretty much same deal.. If you like both, you could mix/match also.. :D

BTW, if you like 32x planes and want to throw in an a little extra, I have a bunch of 32x stuff for sale (10 each) $50 would get you 4 planes shipped to your door.. (shameless plug)..

Get something from Big Lots with lots of lead in it. Seriously though, get an FOV Stug or PZ IV or T-34, etc.

Unless it's my Target.

But yeah I'd say go with the FOV Stuart or Grant. The Stuart is a super nice model and with a little weathering it looks great. I think it was $20-$25 US, I can't remember what I paid for it but the smaller sized armor is cheaper. The M3 Halftrack is nice too and comes with a lot of accessories for an action Grade model.

I haven't taken it out of the box yet but I think it has a hitch so it could pull an artillery piece. Or at least you can fabricate one.

I would go with any one of the new 1:32 FoV releases that you don't already have one of - plus the Lee, Stuart, and SdKfz 7 are first releases that look great. If you wanted to spend a little extra, the German 88mm would be a great addition - unless you already have it. I've been thinking about getting the 105mm too considering how much cheaper it is than the 88mm and how good it looks.

The only items I've gotten lately are a 21C Sherman Firefly and the new FoV M26 Dragon Wagon. Both look awesome and cost very little considering how new & in demand they are.
