If someone doesn't do a little research before buying something on Ebay that's their problem not the sellers!

And no that's not my auction! :P

Rare? Not sure about that. It would seem to me that Blackhawks are showing up at many Targets across the nation for a nice cheap price (I've found them at three locations in my town alone) and there's even the USAF version avaliable on line 8)

People certainly need to research what they buy before they get it... and the Blackhawk pictured is even the Target version

Rightly so, but maybe these buyers on EBAY are from overseas and don't have the opportunity to purchase such items.

doubt it, just another exsample of people with no life (Scalpers) taking advantage of people who cant easly access places like these forums.

its buyer beware, but its also unethical to call something Rare that
is comepletly NOT rare. and HTF, when its brandnew and not HTF.

it really turns me off what people do one ebay, its a BBI Blackhawk not a 80's sealed transformer thats worth alot, its worth 30$, and depending on state, it can be illegal to scalp items currently avilable at retail.

I am TOTALLY against misrepresenting items on Ebay and or selling them at insane prices. The folks I've sold to on here and my Ebay feedback would back that up. I also hate when knuckleheads call every mass produced item RARE!!

On the other hand, nobody is holding your family hostage and forcing you to buy the item. When I see this stuff I just shake my head and move on. My lower price will look all the more attractive when the buyer is comparing prices and they see this weenie charging $20 more.

well i can understand the price

at 61 USD it still cheaper than what hobby stores charge for a chopper, the exchange rate is particularly interesting for us European (1 euro is around 1.38 USD).

But that's the shipping that worries me

i'm glad i found a cheapo PTE (8 USD) balck hawk when i was in New York, the one i had ordered online never made it to France

I too disagree with throwing around the word "rare" and "htf". But with that said, more power to a seller for making a profit. Something is only worth what you can get for it. None of the Target's in my AO have anything new, one store went without any military items for over 2 years. Once the Matchbox 1/72 planes ran out they never stocked anything military. So, for some "htf" may be appropriate for a specific AO. A war of words I guess.

True. I remember around Christmas time they were selling the new German Halftracks, the PAK and M16 for up to $100 each and people were gobbling them up.
