WM don't have the new 21C

Post by sarge » Wed Aug 01, 2007 11:48 am

In my area TRU is finally stocking 21C in 32nd scale but they're $7.00higher than WM. Haven't seen any 1/18th yet.
Don't know what WM is up too in this area but I was able to bring my collection up to date on the older items but haven't seen the first sign of any of the new 32nd planes or military hardware. Shades of WM distribution again.

Only one month until WM starts resetting for X-mas. I think things will start appearing all over after that.

Here in Columbus the Walmart on Georgesville Rd. never has squat. For the last 8 months or so they've had the same BOB figures, and they've never restocked anything, not even their 32X. It's crazy, the new figures have been out for a long time and I've found that at every other walmart in our area. But all of the walmarts definitely have a distribution problem. Most of my recent additions I've been buying online so it takes out the stress of having to buy them from walmart.

The Wal Marts in my area are a mixed bag. Save for only two stores out of seven, most have not gotten in much new. A few D-day figures here and there and a couple new 32x planes, but thats it. None of the new 32x playsets.

Of the other two stores, both at one time or another got in Huff F-86s, Chinese Migs, the two F-104s and BBD P-51s. I have not seen the Russian Mig, Pearl Harbor P-40s or Old Crow Mustangs at Wal Mart.

TRU, however, gets the A in my book at the moment

Yes they do! Found the 1/32 P51 Bullfrog and Princess at the East Peoria, Illinois Walmart today.

So the new P-51s are at Wal Mart as well  What happened to them being TRU exclusives?

Still haven't seen the German Artillery figure or the "Tracker figure around here. The other figures have been restocked several times.

Had to get the bubbletop P-47D "Tarheel Hal" 8) 8) along with the Polish P-51. Have to give 21C credit they did an outstanding job on these especially the P-47. :D I didn't know they were available untill I started going through the outlets I do business with to see what they had. Have to do that more often. Have a good one. Sarge
