Next 1/32nd plane to be released

Post by olifant » Thu Jul 12, 2007 3:52 pm

I just purchased the new 21C P-51B "Bald Eagle" and the P-51C Polish planes and they are absolutely fabulous. Compared to the original S1 Mustang there is absolutely no competition. I am both amazed at the quality and the price of $15 at WM.

I could not help but to think, what is the next "must have" plane from 21C? I was dreaming; Typhoon, BF-110, FW-190A, Hellcat, Spitfire? A re-tooled P-47? Match FOV P-39 release? I realized then that I have to have a P-38. Any other release would not make as much sense to me. What do the fellows of the forum have to say? Do you agree?

I'd go for a 1:32 P-38, Mosquito, Typhoon or a late model Griffon engined Spit. A Wildcat would be cool as well but I could see the gear being a problem.

One thing that I never hear suggested would be planes like the Boeing P-26 Peashooter. I LOVE WWII aircraft but I'd like to see some pre-war stuff for a change. There were all kinds of interesting aircraft built in the 20's and 30's.

Even though it's not a warplane and therefore boring to the unwashed masses, I'd love to see a 1:32 Spirit of Saint Louis made by one of the companies.

There needs to be a Canadian plane!

1:32 is strong right now. I think we will see some very cool things to come in the near future. Meanwhile enjoy those new Mustangs!

Maybe you remember, Tko and me "prophesied" the Polish Mustang Mk. III

Now I suppose 21CT will release the 1/32 Spitfire or/and the Hurricane. Probably both from the Polish squadrons (I imagine the entire 303 Sq...).

Am I right?
