HELP: How does a Hedgehog anti tank obstical work?

How does a hedgehog anti tank obstical work against a tank ... what would happen if a tank were to run over it or a group of them also i have the same question on the dragons teeth obsticals ... any help is appreciated

Basically they are designed to make it so the tank can not pass over or through them.they need to be destroyed by demolition charges etc so it will slow a advance down. Or they can be used to try to funnel the enemy towards strong points of your defenses

The Hedge hog name is used for the device attached to the front of the tank that helps it plow through Bocage(sp) fields of France. They are made from the anti-landing craft obsticles that the Germans placed on the beach. When covered by high tide, they would rip the bottom out of the landing craft. As far as the Dragon's teeth, any tank trying to drive over them would end up sliding off and end up hung up.

I haven't seen any actual video. Tank crews would know better then to try and drive over dragon's teeth. There is a movie from the early 50's titled " The Tanks are Coming". Towards the end the Americans try driving a M26 Pershing over the dragons teeth but it slips off and gets hung up.
