Hey Birddog
Got the same book last week and was thinking the same thing about the 21stCT PaK 40s. BTW even more of topic I've almost finished Marrett's book and you were indeed right it is a great read, also try and get hold of Squadron Signal (SS) No. 6033 Armour In Vietnam by Jim Mesko it complements the Concord books quite well as do SS No. 6053 & 6057 Ground War Vietnam Volumes 1 & 2 (still waiting for volume 3)
Thanks for the information Spudkopf. I'll keep my eyes open for those books too. Glad you have enjoyed Marrett's book. It's a must read. :D

G'day Guys

As I suggested above I have got the Chinese translator guy here on to this and for starters it would appear through our initial investigation that the 37mm's sold on the domestic eBay are about a third of the price of those sold worldwide listings roughly AU$65 (US$55).

Also I have found this possible 1/18 gem.....

I am getting my translation-man to investigate this one further also, but if it is really is 1/18th scale then this would be a perfect Vietnam piece in it's own right, not to mention a perfect tow vehicle for the 37mm and many other possibilities.

Well after a little more Googling it would appear that the CA10 pictured above may be in fact 1:24th scale.

In the close-up of the plaque about half way down the following picture there is a ( 1:24 ) at the end of the first line. :(
