21st Century Sherman

Post by gsheffer » Sun Jun 10, 2007 10:44 pm

Just found this forum - wow! I am looking for a 1:18 Battle of the Bulge Sherman from 21st Century. Thoughts on where I might find one?

BoB Sherman ?

Post by MG-42 » Sun Jun 10, 2007 11:34 pm

Willkommen !

>>> I think what "gsheffer" is referring to , is the die-cast "white-washed" one. I doubt very much if you'll find one at WAL* MART anymore. I've never seen one in my area so I bought two off a fellow board member who just happens to live locally. You might try  "eviLbaY" , though.

Good luck !

I have only seen a photo of one from a Toy Fair shot - someone just told me they made them, but no longer avalible. I have the 21st 1:18 tiger in BOTB paint and wanted the sherman to go with. Perhaps they did not release one and my info is wrong????

Haven't seen one in a while on there. Did see this though which is scary:

Anyway, the bbi Sherman is a great Winter version and easy to get your hands on - I would go for that until the 21C pops up again.

Yes, they made a BOB Sherman with a metal hull. Some if not all were sold at Walmart in Motorworks boxes instead of the usual 21st Century toys box. That was almost three years ago that they wee released. Your best chance to find one is on Ebay. The BBI Sherman that was mentioned has also become hard to find.

Thats right a few years back they were stacked to the ceiling at Wal-Mart. They went on sale for $15 then went down to $8 in a couple of weeks. Don't you know I did not get a single one  But I sure got a lot of the Tigers.
Kirk Douglas : Mine hit the ground first
John Wayne : Mine was taller
