Potential bad news?

Post by aferguson » Fri Jun 01, 2007 10:45 am

I just noticed this quote on Badcat's site about the AT Hartmann plane. Seems that other Admiral Toys preorders are similarily delayed. I wonder if this is a bad omen, or just one of those things we've come to expect in this hobby.

never mind.....i just saw this quote on the direct from the source thread:

"New News from Admiral Toys

I Just got of the phone with James Foringer of Admiral Toys and he said that the F-4 and the A-1 are still going to be made. Hurray!!!!!!

The me-262-white 7 will be here in about 4 weeks
The CL-13 "Hartmann" should be here in about 8 weeks
The reason for the delay is because Admiral toys has a new manufacturing plant……which is great news in itself!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

whew... 8)

If you look at Admiral's own website, it shows the Hartmann plane pushed back until late August and the White 7 pushed back to late June. Considering what we have seen from others in the industry, that still qualifies as ahead of schedule.

I wouldn't worry about Admiral Toys, they may have a few delays but as Fierdude said, they are way ahead of schedule by this industries standards. They'll deliver on what they've shown us.

That's a relief...I was getting worried about AT with the delays announced on BadCat. I'm really looking forward to the Dauntless. Not sure if I will get their Me-262 or wait for 21c's version....kind of torn as to what to do on that one.

Get AT's 262! It's beautiful. It is a must have for your collection and you won't be sorry you did.

Yes the Admiral ME262 is a beauty. Just don't let your brother run over yours with his truck. Mine got smashed, but I got another one that is just a great looking as the first one I had. :D

I sure hope the Hartmann CL-13 does not get pushed back to far. I really want that plane. :D

2nd Me-262 Paint scheme

Post by Charlemagne » Sun Jun 03, 2007 3:44 pm

Thanks for the info Birddog and Sabrefan. I have read alot of your posts in the past and have alot of respect for both your opinions and insights. I think I will get ATs new upcoming paint scheme when available. I passed on the first one because I really didnt care for the paint scheme but I like the second one and have debated on preordering it or waiting for 21C. Your thumbs up is enough for me.

I really think you will like the Admiral ME262. The paint work on mine is about as good as it gets. I look forward to seeing what you think of it when you get one. :D

Thanks for the kind words Charlemagne. That second paint scheme for AT's 262 looks great to me. You won't be disappointed. I've seen it in person and the pictures don't do it justice.
