heres a link to more shots of the mcfarlane fig coming up, think i might have to pick some of these up, but if they are not articulated like it looks like they wont be, i might avoid em, really hate that, they look great, would a few moving parts kill someone?

I wouldn't hope for poseability out of these... McFarlane's notorious for one-pose-wonders and if they're articulated they often are brittle and break apart.sculpted in real, life-based action poses
He claims greatness in the toy industry, but beyond sculpts that are very nice (not even the best, just very nice), he's really made no leaps that any other company hasn't already topped quite handily. His articulation claims in the past have always made me laugh because of how easily his figures broke when you moved them at almost any joint.
These figures look like he at least accepts that none of his figures with articulation were poseable any way, so he's just going to see to it they're sculpted in action poses permanently now.

don't seem to be articulated but really well done and super detailed.

it be great if they were 1/18.

Had stopped by McFarlane's showroom in Tempe this week. Was asking about these figures. Granted, this is coming from the grunts in the storeroom, but their opinion was the factory is really excited for these figures, but Mr. Todd wasn't too hot on the idea of military figures. They hope they sell well so that Mr. Todd may consider making them in smaller scales. Likely pie-in-the-sky talk, but interesting. While I was there, bought a 3-3/4" "Todd the Bum" figure, since its so rare to find decent civilian figures.
i dont care if they are 1:18 or not, as long as they fit in size wise with my plan b figs, but that none articulated stuff really erks me, how do you expect to sell a toy that doesnt move?
it just makes them a more detailed, larger, more exspensive "little green army guy", who is he marketing this for, the largest consumer base isnt going to buy frozen figs, no matter what detail,
look at dusty trails, they had no movable parts and now they wised up and are going into articulated figs

I am excited about these. They should work with the modern Dusty Trail figures, right?
AND, McFarlane puts out some great stuff nowadays. Their quality went way up about 2 years ago, and stayed there. I have been delighted with 80% of what they have done in the last year and a half.
