First, welcome back, Mike!!
Now, before I get excited...
...are we talking product like TRU has been carrying (I hope so!), or are we talking about product like Target carried previously (I hope not!)?

hello Mike welcome back,
On the Hellcat will there be any new features like removable engine cowls, opening gun lockers and extra ordnance?
Colonel "Madman" Maddox: Let me hear your guns!
Captain Wild Bill Kelso: My what?
Colonel "Madman" Maddox: Your guns! Ack, ack, ack, ack, ack!
Captain Wild Bill Kelso: [fires his airplane's guns] AHHHH!

Mike: Is that a no comment on the F-16 and F-18 making either big box right now??? Also, any progress on the Thunderbirds F-16 at this time? PS, I think the F-16 is missing some tender loving repaints!!

Gday Mike,
Welcome back for starters. One thing that is not small scale related.
Related to small scale, is there any chance along the lines of ever seeing a Eurotiger, PC9 Trainer or Hawk 100?
Maybe even the idea of blank aircraft that come with a waterslide decal sheet?
Thankyou also for 1:6 Barney.
Cheers,
Austeyr.

for plane nuts ...yes the mighty Falcon has been sorely neglected but the big box boys say the box is too big and their box is not big enough...go figure that one out
for VMF115...the Hellcat well be "sufficient" ..we had to decide between working wing fold with movable flying surfaces or removable hatches...the answer was an easy one. This was a matter of cost as to have it all was simply not possible for the price.
Also there is very basic ordinance but may be an add on accessory pack later on to enhance it.
But on the bright side...it is nicely done Hellcat
for Akkhraziel...see above on the big birds and my reply to "plane nuts"
for Jeff Cope...we are talking Elite Force quality...not Combat Command as before.
For Hawkeye...they are coming...and do remember what Paul Revere was yelling as he rode into town too!!!

THE BRITISH ARE COMING!!!
I sure hope they are WWII Brits which would mean somewhere other than Target which is fine - the more places to get Elite Force the better. Can't wait for what's in store.

Mike I know I will be happy with the Hellcat and thank you for answering my question, I do have another one.
Mike could we all get a free Hellcat, just one, and before any one else gets one so we may see it up close and tell every one what a great model it is, I know I will stil buy 4 or 5 down the road. ,,,please?

Mike: Thanks for such a quick response. You're definately making this weekend a good one.
But I figured out your riddle. Lazy parents do not want to buy something that they can see will need a little bit of effort to be put together. It has to be completely assembled and ready to be taken out of the box, especially if they are going to plop $75 to $80 on it (guessing about what Toys R Us' price point might be there!). But then big items do not readily fit on standard planograms, so an F-16 size box would either be put up on top or relegated to a corner where normal shoppers do not tread. So they can't see something awesome like that selling.
I'm guessing a non-window box is out of the question? Or how about a conformal box (like Hasbro did with the Toys R Us X-Wing) in the shape of an F-16?

Mike can you give us any information about the 1/32 aircraft line?
Will Target carry it or just Toys R Us?
I assume retractable gear is a given right?
What features will these have, will it borrow moving surfaces like on their bigger 1/18 counterparts? What is the msrp and when can we expect them in stores? I saw these out of the blue in the toyfair coverage and honestly its one of the most exciting new products I have heard about. Yet we barely know anything about it.
Also since a F-4 Phantom was shown can this be a sign that other fan fav planes will make it into that scale? How about the hornet and falcon, will those be scaled down to 1/32 and given moving surfaces as well as more ordinance?(I'm assuming since its smaller its cheaper and more feasible to do this).
A very excited fan.
And welcome back!
Shin's wishlist for 1/18 and 1/32 with retractable landing gear and more:
F-14 Tomcat, F-8 Crusader, A-4 Skyhawk, F-105 Thunderchief, A-6 Intruder, F-15C, F-15E Strike Eagle

That's great to hear that we are talking about elite fore quality items i know a few people going to the states so hopefully i can get them to pop into TRU and Target and checking out what is there.
I am guessing that we will see the blackhawk and other vehicles and the older Marines, SEALs, Army figures etc at Target at reduced prices and then the new figures we have seen will be at TRU is that right?
Is there any chance of getting the Weapons Packs that came with the G-36, and XM-8'S They seemed to just disapear when they came out?.
Once again GREAT to have you back Mike!!!

Hey Mike thats a shame there wont be any weapons packs but will be looking forward to hearing what figures are going to show up! Am hoping to see the one that came with the M240B really like that weapon and
could do with a few more lol.
Ok thought of a few more questions:
I doubt you know exactly mike / or your not allowed to say but do you know how much the figures and Vehicles are going to be?
Will these be released in the same packaging as the originals or something else?
Are the figures going to be released individually as they were or in two packs like the Combat Command stuff?
and finally will the new figures shown at toyfair be a TRU exclusive like the last ones or will the E-tailers be able to get hold of them for us international collectors?
OK questioning over for now LOL.

Mike,
From your reply I can gather this. The 1/32 line will:
1-be sold@TRU as well as target
2-have retractable landing gear
3-might have moving flight surfaces
4-might have the Falcon and Hornet
5-Might have more ordinance than their bigger counterparts
Can you give us more info? I am VERY excited about this line and this is the line we know least about. The only sources of info are toyfair coverage and comments from those who attended the fair and saw it in person.
The only things we know thus far are a Dauntless and Phantom will come out, and your responses.
Info such as which planes comprise the first assortments/waves would be great!~
*BTW I don't know if I am wrong on this, but it seems like the most requested planes that might be too big/risky in 1/18 are being put in this line. Am I right? I remember a lot of us begging for a BBI F-4, and this came to mind immediately once I read announcement of the 1/32 line.*
Shin's wishlist for 1/18 and 1/32 with retractable landing gear and more:
