Schleich Ox Cart

Post by Quixote511 » Fri Apr 20, 2007 1:16 pm

Carrie and I have been buying Schleich Knight figs to decorate a nursery (no kid yet--just doing prep work). So, since these guys are 1/20 scale I decided to try out some of the accessories with my XD. The ox cart fits in nice, especially if you have a hay loft or farm house to put it near. I will try to post pics later. Going out to fly my Parkzone Cub on a glorious spring day.

I think the cart is great...

I agree the cart really adds realism. Many people forget Europe at this time depended on this type of transport overall and these carts were on every farm there. It does go great with the bombed French building and barn and stuff. I added a few Scheich cows pigs and lambs.

I used the ox card in custom kurt's kamera korner page 3 december06 photo. If anything it's a little too big despite being made for 1/20 type figures. Yes the Sept release of the wagon should work well.

There's an interesting-looking Schleich building coming out, too (an animal nursery of some sort), plus a safari truck that looks like it could have modern potential. I saw them on the Ridge Road Station web site, but I'm sure other sellers will carry them too.
