MG131 COWL GUNS I need help makeing them

Post by VMF115 » Wed Apr 11, 2007 1:20 pm

Who here can help me make the MG131 COWL GUNS and the parts in the pic for the 21st 1:18 fw-190.

There is enough space to do it, last night I removed that part and the mod is as simple as making a few cuts and crafting the machine guns.
I need some help please.

Hmmmm, if I was to do that, I would get the barrels of the guns from the 50 cal brownings, and for the receiver, and all the other parts, im thinking I would find a material sturdy enough, maybe puddy, or clay, and then use the bullet cases from the F-86 guns. Just a thought. It may be a little hard to get it all together, but im sure you could do it.

Actually this is beyond my level of expertise; I don’t have detailed drawings. But I think it would make a nice resin mold for all who would want one.

Every thing would have to be scratch built, and I for one do not want to gut an F-86 just to get the parts.

ya, I would never even touch my F-86 either, I figure I can just custom make them out of spare parts , I think Im gonna try this. I think it would look awesome!!

Without knowing what the pieces look like from the F-86. But couldn't you just make resin moulds off of the 86's gun. I don't know how easy it is to disassemble the 86 but you could basically copy / take a mould off the gun and then just put it back in the 86.
