I saw the Daisey June Corsair at my local TRU the other day along with the Old Crow BBI P-51. They only had one a peice. Daisey June looked really nice but since I already have 2 Corsairs I couldnt bring myself up to buying another one.

I picked up the "Daisy June" (sp) Corsair today at TRU's. I had a 20% off coupon TRU sent me so the total came to $34.00 something with tax. I don't know much about this plane. Is it the same model Corsair as the 21st Century? Any links to some history of the plane?

Daisy June was from the 1st marine Squad to fly off a carrier VMF-511 Block Island - I think it is the best Corsair scheme to date.

"The Apache and Pave Hawk 1:18 scale helicopters are back in stock! The new

version of the popular Little Bird helicopter is also restocked. Sorry
about the new, higher price on the Little Bird - Blue Box significantly
increased their wholesale price for this item. :(

.....

Our selection of 1:18 scale WW2 paratroopers and infantry figures is nearly
gone (some figures already sold out). We don't know if we will be able to
get any more of these in the future as Blue Box's interest in providing 1:18
scale figures to the hobby marketplace appears to be non-existent these
days.

Sorry, no photo as I didn't buy it. I already have 9 Mustangs. Here's a link to the profile though.

Alright, I couldn't resist it any longer, so I went back and picked up the new Emerson Mustang. Here's a couple of pics of it still in the box.

No, the pilot sculpt is the same as before. My pilot just seems to be missing his cap.

I sure hope they come over here. Did they have any more planes on the shelf or does TRU work like Wal-Mart. When the shelves clear out they restock?

I like the paint job on that Mustang Pokeyjtc. If you have them in Houston, we might have them here as well.

Actual Toy Recon, not just a wishlist...

Went to TRU yesterday hoping the S7 Emerson Mustang came on the same boat as some figures. The Times Square TRU had Daisy June's for $40, Nightstalkers for $23 and plenty of modern ad WWII jump-ready paras for $9. There were no new figs but I am posting the pics so we all remember what we can expect (I almost forgot):

Darn, I thought you'd actually found them! Here I was getting ready to write a "Why does the east coast always get the good stuff..." sort of comment :P

I will be keeping a periodic lookout, anyways. Nothing but the first wave of moderns are out in my area currently.
