Just thought I'd ask, but what is your favorite 1/32 scale or smaller figure and pose? There's alot to choose from, and I'm leaving it open to all makes!
My favorite is a toss-up between two of the 32x Series 2 German figures:
The Machine Gunner resting his foot on a bucket and smoking a cigarette or the sentry in the long coat next to the road sign.

1-32 figures
As for 1-32 scale plastic figures there are none better than Conte,s WW2. Add 21st & FOV vehicles and you can set up a huge diorama.
Also add Gary Dutkos Conte conversions and it makes them another 100% better.
But for absolutly the best, even tho they are 60 to 65 mm are King & Country, no comparison.
I don,t know if the hatch on a 21st tank is on backwords, but I do know figures and the above are the best.
21st figures can,t hold a candle to the above.

21st century figures are the best. Here is why! First they are affordable. Important when your talking toys! Second they are good. Not great but very good for a Toy. Third they can be man handled or kid handled to hell and back!
They are historically pretty good, damn good for the price. They will last and they can be molded into many poses. A few weapons here and there and you can double the range.
The only problem is 21st didnt keep them comming or stocked. If they put a little more detail and several more sets out it would be over for the others.( the jack asses put out 8th army? They dont even make a British vehicel or anything North Africa related? Why 21st? Get off the crack!) Contes stuff is great but you have to piant it. They are also a little oversized for the vehicels. King and Country while in another world simply isnt a toy. For the price of a three figure set of King and country you could purchase seven sets of 21st century figures. After all it is an army. Match to it that 21st has a pretty good selection of vehicels etc.
I think FOV has a shot. Dump the metal idea and go with the plastic like the zundapp crew or SDKF crewmen. These were good figures. Their first try didnt quite cut the mustard.
So thats my take. Now if only 21st had the same view point? It would be so easy for 21st to kill off Conte, Arfix, CTS and all the others in the plastic figure game. They could probably kill off many of the pricier collectors versions as well. Sad as I enjoy having lots of choices but I would love to see a full range, a huge range, an affordable range! I would love to see it from one company.

I never considered 21C figures because I thought they were made of breakable styrene plastic like the vehicles as I do a lot of wargaming, reguiring lots of handleing. Thats why I perfer the toy grade of FOV vs. the collector grade. However, after reading jrs's comments I might look into them. I currently have all the Conte figure sets, Matchbox, BMC marines I use as US infantry and FOV. Also I didn't know 21C figures can be molded into different poses?
