WWII US Motorcycle Riders & Bikes.

Post by steelbonnet » Mon Mar 20, 2006 6:55 am

Well there done :D (as seen in my WIP thread I did last week).

Here we have a pair of US MP Bike riders.

PARTS:-
Parts used are from 21st XD & PTE. As you can see with one of the MPs he`s got the lower posable XD arms that bend at the elbows (why waist good stuff ). The other MP I added the elasticated cuffs from the S1 arms.
I also used the feet from both XD.
ALL the PTE parts have been sanded down to A, Align well with XD parts & B, Take away any Modern Uniform Styles.
I also sculpted the elastic bottom to the jackets on both.

Also I dremelled out a XD Tanker helmet.I have seen lots of photos of these with Bikes,so I presume some riders wore them,if not well a loose removable tanker helmet for whenever I get some Tanks :D

Also on one of the Harley`s I added the Windshield & the other I removed the legshields.

Anyway to the photos:-

Well there you have them both. 2 Full articulated US troops who can ride there WLAs & also be posed for other stuff too.

Look forward to hearing what you all think.

Thank`s very much guys I appreciate the kind words :D
I`m pretty happy overall with how they turned out :D

Phil,
As for the scabbards, well I was going to just glue a stock onto the scabbard, though I think If I can find this tan leather I`ll make an actual scabbard so a Weapon can be inserted.

Again thank`s mate :D

Stuka,
HAHAHAHA
Thank`s mate & I`m actually working on a pair od CHP riders for my 2 CHP BMW R1100s I`ve got :D So then you`ll be plagued even more :D HAHAHAHA

HAHA I don`t know a pair of motorbikes together & CHiPs jumps to mind......HAHAHAHA Must admit it`s true i did too :D

Thank`s Blaster :D The dremelling out the XD Tanker helmet was a last minute thing really due to the amount of photos I have were these helmets are either resting on the bike or actually being worn.
So why not. Though IF/WHEN i ever get some US armour I could also give it to a Tanker :D

I must of missed this one last year.

That's a good job on the windshield. :P

Those motorcycles are hard to find around here.
