Post by vmf214 » Tue Mar 13, 2007 8:18 pm

Just saw on news, apparantly TRU states too much lead in the paint on the EO play sets. If posted elsewhere my apologies...

also toys have sharp points?

pretty soon - every toy will have a label on the back that states "may cause some type of harm or death if played with incorrectly. In other words survival of the fittest - good luck."

Hard to believe that these toys have hazardous paint and sharp objects!

I hope that they clear them off so that we can get more BBI Stuff anyway. They should have just stayed with 21C instead of going with a cheaper product.

While I agree with the lead issue I don't with the sharp point issue, that's overkill... Good thing they don't still make tin toys in large numbers as in the 50's-70's, there'd be an onslaught of missing fingers and tongues  .
