Post by tiger1 » Wed Feb 15, 2006 1:57 am

Hi Guy`s,I`m Daniel aka tiger1.I`m an aircraft engineer with the SAS
(scandinavian airlines system)I have my background from the RNoAF as a crew chief on the F-5b(i have about 5hrs of rearseat flying)
After a period of building 1:48 aircrafts i switched to 1:18 diecast cars(about 250)about 10 years ago ,before discovering a/c in 1:18 a couple of years ago.My first was BBi p-51 killer, and have thus far collected
9 planes
I also do modifications to my models, mostly small tricks and painting, but also a couple of major ones(dismantling the models)
Brgds tiger1(my squadron was the 336 tigers-geddit?

Welcome! You should post pictures of your modifications in the Reference Room. I also like to take apart my models and customize them, both aircraft and 1/18 cars. I have about 100 cars and 8 aircraft.

tiger1,

Great to have you aboard. We'd all love to see some pics of your modifications.
Its always interesting to see individual influence on some already well put together models. 8)
