thanks for the comments guys.
to answer your questions:
1- yes it is a Luke torso, glued to a 21st lower body.
2- yes, he is a copy of the character of the Big Red ONe...my attepmt at it.
3- yes, he is a cherry, Private and he needs to fix the tank, dig trenches, and pull guard duty. hahahahhaa!
but i thought the idea had a lot of potential.
ps: the pick is needed to get some logs to reinforce the Sherman armor...fix it or they will toast when the German tanks fire at them....hahahahaaha!

That`s great work mate & love that he`s based on a movie character too.
Does this mean your going to use a Han Solo head next & do his character from Force 10 from Navarone? LOL

HAHAHA Thank`s mate & yea one of us should try it.
Though I must admit I have the James Coburn head DML did with their German figures.
I`m still at odds what to do with him,do I go for the obvious & do Cpl Steiner or one of his other roles?
As for han Solo headsculpt, well apart from Indy of course as well as the Force 10 from Navarone, there is Also for the Nam collectors his cameo as an attache at the beginning of Apocolyps Now.
Ha maybe we should start a thread famous 1/18th heads & the films appropriate (Military themed).
What do you think Ranger?
take care too mate.

That is a great idea!
Princes Leia could be one of the NAM red sector girls.....hahahhahahaha!!!
but it is a good idea and people should try it....i like your idea of CPL. Steiner...from Cross oF Iron...and it has already been done in 1/6 so why not in 1/18......now all we need are some Russian figures....some Brits...and of course some:
New Zelanders!!!!! HOOAAH!!!!...

Well there`s one supportting voice for this idea then
Now as for the kiwi`s,yea seeing them & other Commonwealth troops is a MUST too

Though they`ll be easier to do once British troops come out as well. Just need bush hats for the Aussies & kiwi`s

& big Berets too with the obiquious British Steel helmets too.
