Those are some nice pics, I was surprised to see the pics of Anderson's
U-2 wreckage. He was from Greenville, S.C. which is about thirty miles
from me. If they haven't moved it they had an F-86 in a park there painted like the one he flew. I had heard one time that someone was trying to get a Dragon Lady to put there.

Cool news. 8)

I hope this leads to WWII Russian planes.

(But I think they're going in the wrong time order though.) :P

Maybe we can get a Mig-29 or Su-27 or Su-33 soon :) (yeah, I know, ever farther in the wrong direction, but we seem to be on a roll here). And maybe a T-72, BMP, and ZSU-23 to boot.

Told my wife how end of the year/2008, there should be a MIG-21 out.

Wife:  "Great, how many of these are you going to get?" Ah, she knows me too well.

I have known about the MiG-21 / F-4 Phantom II pair for a LONG time now. The timed release of the Platoon figures and then the new Vietnam planes make for a great opportunity for fans of the Vietnam War products in 2007. The Smoke II F-104 was the tester for the revival of Vietnam era stuff in 1:18 I think.

So now everyone knows part of the reason for some duplication in the market. It's bound to happen especially when 1:18 planes are concerned! The MiG-15 vs. F-86 Sabre and now the MiG-21 vs. F-4 Phantom.

So waht is going to compliment the B-25! A bombed out building!!!!!

I wish! I really do miss the 1:18 playsets! a bombed building or whatever would be cool! Keep your eyes on AREA-21! We sould see more follow up articles with details.

How about a Tuskegee Airmen version from the 447MBG to go along with the Mustang.
