Cool aircraft choice.

What liveries have been chosen so far TKO?

Hope we see a North Vietnamese livery first.

Sweet!

A perfect choice - somebody correct me if I'm wrong - the MiG-21 is the most produced jet plane, ever.

Just about every little nation that wanted a fast jet fighter in their arsenal has bought 'em, so the repaint possibilities are pretty huge.

I'm still waiting for somebody to produce the most produced military aircraft of all time - the Russian Ilyushin Il-2 Shturmovik.

But I don't want to be like those A-10 guys and just reply to every new plane announcement "How come it's not an IL-2?!"

Anyhow, a perfet choice for an aggressor aircraft. I think it is still engaged in hostilities around the world from time to time.

But where's our A-10? (j/k, sort of)

I am happy that my more modern jets will finally have something to shoot down in the next couple years. Somehow, the F-16 vs. timewarped Bf-109 just never seemed fair.

I was not surprised, it only makes sense to make the Mig 21 to go with the f-4II 8)

NVA scheme should be first, and some Soviet will likely be second. Beyond that? How about the remnants of the MIG21 that made a cameo in Last King of Scotland? Haven't been able to confirm, but my guess in the one shown in the hanger scene is actually remnants of the one's the Israeli's blew up in the Entebbe raid. Or how about a Cuban -21 in the sky-blue camo scheme.

I am excited about all these upcoming releases, but I am not sure if I can get them due to space limits. That kind of bums me out. :(

First the B-25, now the Mig-21!!!!

I love you 21st Century Toys! :D

I hope it will be the version that has the strake going from the cockpit to the tail, I really like that one more, and please, also make a Russian paint.

I cant say enough about it! another dream of mine come true

Will there be a Mig-17, or are you skipping it?

BTW, it was said there is no interest in Russian aircraft... so far not one person is not happy about it  I hope this opens the door for WWII Russian Aircraft

As far as schemes, 21c totally needs the NVA scheme, a basic Soviet scheme, and then comes the fun: all the other countries that use (or used) the Mig-21. Hobbymaster has a couple striking Mig schemes, especially the Polish fish one. A Mig-21 in East German markings (to go with the Marinefleiger F-104) and one in Iraqi markings would be neat!

Here's some pics of technicolor Cubans

http://www.acig.org/artman/publish/article_554.shtml

Or the many African paint schemes:
http://www.acig.org/artman/publish/article_195.shtml
http://www.acig.org/artman/publish/article_196.shtml
http://www.acig.org/artman/publish/article_199.shtml
http://www.acig.org/artman/publish/article_197.shtml

What would be nice is one of the Eastern Block paint schemes that were then seen elsewhere when sold to other countries, and only the markings were changed.
