They are wrong in every way, wheels (not the good design), tires (not the good design and they are too thin), and legs (a disaster).
So much work in a plane and finally a few "details" that ruins the whole thing...
There is only so much detail a company can put on these planes so not eveything is going to be dead on accurate. As for the gear legs on both the 21st and BBI Corsairs are concerned I would say that if you add a little more detail they would look very very good. They are not disasters, far from it. As for the tires? Ya I would have prefered them to be a little wider but thats how it goes. I'm just glad to have Marines Dream from BBI and Ira Kepfords #29 from 21st. Now I would like to see a F4U-4 from either company. That would be cool.

I found three of the Daisy June Corsairs at TRU today. I picked up one, and I really like this paint scheme. Great looking model.

I agree - I was so happy I waited for the corsair when i found this one - I was very close a few times on getting the olde checkerd' one -

Stuka, you are right. The more I look at the Daisy June Corsair, the more I like it. The overall blue paint just looks great on this model.

TRU had three Daisy June's and six Night Stalker Littlebirds today. The Daisy June is very sweet, I wish it would have came out before I got my Checkerboard last year. But I can't justify buying another Corsair.
The Night Stalker Littlebird is kick butt! I'm glad I held off getting the other models. My only problem with it is that some factory worker went insane with the silver brush. Mine isn't too bad but the others there looked ridiculous.
