1/144 Tiger question

Post by vmf214 » Mon Feb 26, 2007 10:49 pm

Wasn't there a gray Tiger or just the camo? Does anyone have a list of all the 1/144 armor that 21st has released thus far?

Ok, after a little research it appears there have been 3 releases of armor so far with the Priest being in the 3rd release. This sound correct to anyone? The initial release Tiger was gray, the 2nd one camo, wasn't a Tiger in the 3rd set... :?

If you are speaking of those gnarley wargaming-grade 21C 1/144th Tigers; yes, their 1st releases had a gray Tiger I. It is historically inaccurate as it is a "late production" Tiger I with steel wheels, so it should have been in a base color of "panzer yellow" - as was their 1st series Kingtiger. But a simple repaint and - viola.

So far, CanDo Tiger Is are the best I've seen, but they came and went, and were pricey for wargaming on a large scale.

WTM Tiger

Wadja think of the WTM Tiger? It's an early Tiger and is pretty well done. Simple paint job, kind of an off green. Front road wheels are optional.
