21st is also making an Old Crow Mustang? Must've missed that thread. I see the scheme is the latter which is cool. I assume it'll be out with the updated and corrected BBD...
Saw them in the new Historic Aviation catalog. According to HA's site the Old Crow is available but I don't think so, they're pretty good about advertising items with little to no info on availability. Only one I recall that had any actual "pre order" info was the Tuskegee bird.

I got the Historic Aviation mag too and I saw that as well. I normally go right out to their warehouse to check things out because they are like 15 min from my house. I'm gonna stop and ask if they have Old Crow and BBD but I wont hold my breath on it due to they always put things in their catalog and its not avalible except for pre-order. I'm looking forward to Old Crow because of the color scheme its wearing. It will go along nice with HHH, and Tender Terror. I'm also going to grab BBD as well because I just love the color scheme. Then its the end of my Mustang buying spree because I have to save room for my Hellcat and Dauntless.

Three completely new planes released last year. I think that beats the comp combined, to be honest.tkjaer21 wrote:It seems as if 21C wants to duplicate and make everything. At least they are giving us choices. Now, spend that time and effort and make something new 21C.

All they would have to do is make a new canopy and make a spare decking and they will have a NEW P-51 B or C. It should be easy to do. just make it a snap on deal and they could use the same molds.
The same with P-38. Change the large chin radiators and make the earlier sleek rad intakes and you have the earlier model.
21st. If you need anymore ideas I have a bucket full.

I agree that the NMF Old Crow is a cool scheme and the most popular. I passed on the BBI OD version because I knew and was hopeing 21st would do one with their new tool Mustang series and they will be delievering. Thanks 21st. Now I just hope it comes out soon. Im going to call Historic Aviation today to see what the deal is with BBD and Old Crow being in their current catalog. I bet they tell me its pre-order.
