Hey guys, as some of you know i've been thinking of making new militiamen. I've only got two versions of the gi joe fig (veterinarian) link talbot so i needed more black figures
after seeing blood diamond, i've decided to try and use some chap mei tribesmen figs
the hotlink doesn't work so hit the link to see the pic
http://www.chapmeitoys.com/wild_quest_2 ... _loose.jpg
i'm actually sculpting some pants and boots, then i'll paint him
if it turns out nice i'll try and get more of these figs to customize

Nice work. There's a post somewhere down the list with a bunch I had made up before with GI Joe parts. Also, Eversparkle has two sculpts of AA heads that would help out.
And if you ever come up with a source for a 1/18 Toyota pickup to make a technical out of, let me know

Nice Work!! it's good to see something different! Adding a little brown to MJ's AK works really well doesnt it! it brings out the "wood" really nicely. Are your Militia going to get the rest of MJ's soviet weaponry?
Will be looking forward to seeing your French troops after April!

most are marauder inc weapons : Ak (folding stock, removable magazine, AKSU, AK74 w/GL, RPG) i will also provide them with a 21st century XD RPG (which came with an eastern warrior fig)
i was planning to buy some wooden stock AKs and machine guns from MJ in april
but first i need some more chap mei figs to customize
