What would be a great idea would be for WM & 21C to get ahold of ALL of these complaints about their combined lack of interest that is being shown to us. You know what would happen? Not a D--N thing except for them to laugh all the way to the bank. WM could care less how we feel, they've run everyone else out of the areas and can dictate what and what not to sell. 21C don't care either. Anyone here writtten them about this? Better yet, anyone here RECEIVED an answer? I don't think so. I know I have'nt. Each one hides behind the other. I'll put my money into BBI and AT. If 21Cs stuff is so great like their web site says why isn't it carried by more distributers? Have a good one. Sarge.

Yeah I agree with sarge that walmart and 21st doesn't seem to care. I know walmart doesn't. It's really a shame because 21st products are great. I'm getting ready to head to walmart right now here in columbus, not expecting to find anything as usual. I'm not going to sit here and complain again about how 21st is only dealing with walmart because I've talked the subject to death. 21st is going to end up losing a lot of business over this and the trouble is that nobody will let anybody else know anything. Why won't 21st let TKO know what to tell us about the distribution? He's in the dark just as much as we are. I did go to toys r us yesterday and I found the bbi figures, sniper, special ops guy, etc. And they also had the cobra viper sets from gi joe. I was surprised. Too bad 21st doesn't have toys r us anymore :( . Oh well my friends, off to walmart for another wasted tank of gas....

what do you need?

Post by digger » Sun Feb 25, 2007 9:16 am

Sarge, tosborne3, what is it you need that you can't find? I collect figures and I know that until they appear with small retailers (which is usually a few months after WM), they are tough to find at a retail, or even a reasonable price on ebay. But EVERYTHING else is online - readily available.
Want a Huff? Buy one.
Want an Avenger? They are about $40 on ebay.
Want a MiG? Buy one from any of our small retailers.
There is MUCH more stuff online than at WM - PH P-40, new 104, etc..

Or is it you just want the stuff at WM's prices? Well then you can't have your cake and eat it too, sorry. If there is something you REALLY need that you are so upset, just buy it.

Digger is right! If there is something that you're dying to get, then just get it. I for one hate to pay inflated etailers prices and also the shipping charges from ebay wins but sometimes we just have to bite the bullet. Being that the Walmarts suck here in N.J. and in Eastern Pa., I can almost guarantee myself that the only way that I'm going to get a F-86 "The Huff" is to buy it over the internet. This stinks but that's just the way it is.

I would say that about 2/3 of my collection is from e-bay or e-tailers. The Wal-marts down here suck. As I have stated time and again.

Hello. :) Mostly its the figures that I complain about not finding. I do agree with you guys that " if you want something just buy it" however I dont want to pay 10+dollars and shipping per fig.(E-BAY) The only reason I was complaining in the first place is that the (other) on-line retailers didn't recieve these as well. My biggest rant/complaint is that with this wave of figs the overall distribution was poorly thought out. I had hoped to find some of them back before Christmas when it was assumed they would be available, but they were not at wallys or anywhere else. I am done complaining though. I do think the online retailers will get them eventually, till then I'll have to make due. :) My apologies to anybody for my ranting on about this subject.

I don't mind paying full price + shipping for anything. Been there done that. But I would appreciate the opportunity to at least participate in some discounted 21C items supposidley available at WM. Have a good one. Sarge

I got one of the DAKs and the german officer. Hopefully this next weekend I will find a couple more at a different wallys, glad to see they are finally getting them in. Can't wait till the online retailers get them also!! Happy for now here in Ohio! :D

I like WalMart because they are cheaper, there are no delivery charges, and you can inspect products before you buy. Online stores are always much more, charge delivery fees and are often less than helpful if there is a problem or something is broken. I just wish there was some consistency between stores. I have 2 in my town and 1 will get some stuff, the 2nd will get other stuff, and neither will ever get some stuff...which one in the next town will get???? Sometimes you are forced to use on line retailers or ebay. I just don't get it!

And nothing ever changes with WMart. Been like this for years, will be for years to come.

I live in the heart of wm country and have access to a total of 31 stores total in 4 states with a max of an hours drive to the furthest one. NONE of these stores are consistent. NONE of them carry basically the same XD stuff, if any at all as it sells decent here. With the exception of the Avenger fiasco no plane gets discounted, ever. We still have Michaelski 190's on shelves, full price, with beat up, dusty boxes. The latter is due to a moron for a dept. mgr. Out of 31 stores there has been only 1 new plane show up in the last several months, Russian Mig and at only 1 store and they only got 3. Go figure.

If 21C items were immediately available at the online retailers, I'd skip the Wally hunt entirely (unless I was there for other reasons).

Thats exactly why the online retailers haven't gotten them yet. We can't cut wally out can we?

Went searching to over 9 supercenter stores in the 30 mile radius yeterday and nothing but the old BOB figs.
