That P-38 was a QVC exclusive back in 2002. QVC is one of those TV shopping channels. It also showed up at Small Blue Planet.

Not many were made, probably around a 1000 or so, however, they weren't very popular. The paint scheme is supposed to be of this plane, however it failed miserably:

The paint scheme was supposed to be a sky-blue, but somehow it got screwed up and it turned out silver. I personally wouldn't bother, but if you are a completist (you have to have them all) then go for it....

That should be a rare one. I would like it myself. The spinach 109 is not one of the best looking but it is the rarest thus bringing a high price. The Samantha Peyton P-38 is not rare but it dose bring the highest price as well. There was one hanging in each Toys-R-Us when they sold XD.

We haven't had those since 2004 and they weren't very popular when they were released. However, I've seen these go for big bucks during the past year Ebay. It might be a good one to scoop up if you can get it.

BadCat had the Pudgy (V) last year. Many Thanks BadCat for this plane and the others that I have bought through you.
