1/32 Surprise Aircraft

Post by Coreyeagle48 » Tue Feb 20, 2007 10:44 pm

Hi Everyone,

Well here is the story, got this beauty really cheap because one of the engines nacells was broken. Easy fix with super glue. Came in the mail today and repaired her and now she is on display. This is from the Authentic Models line and they are normally really expensive.

Take a look, a new 1/32 bird for my collection. Look in the 1/32 Surprise Album

It's a little bit bigger than 1/32 I think, but it is close enough for me. She is just such a beauty. Working control surfaces, metal parts, wood and fabric construction and really good looking. I won't repaint her in military markings because it wouldn't look as good. Wingspan is about 37", big bird.

I'll post some more pictures outside tomorrow in the light.

Regards

Corey

That does look pretty good! Although the old Pan American scheme is classic and looks good, you've got to repaint it as a C-47, preferably in Normandy markings
