Jagdpanther conversion kit?

Post by gary1930 » Sat Feb 17, 2007 3:35 pm

Who would be interested in a Jagdpanther conversion kit?

I am working on most of the parts to do one for myself, but the gun will require some specialized molding. If enough people are interested, I will check into getting a mold for it made.

PM me.

OK, I got about ten expressing interest, so I sent the master barrel off to an expert to make the mold for it. I have made the molds for the resin gun parts, and the superstructure will be 1/8" styrene. So far, everything looks good, but there will be a lot of detail work remaining.

I got the mold and a couple sample barrels back from thetoysurgeon today, and they look great. I hope to have the first conversion done in a couple of weeks, and will post pics.

Seriously, thanks, Charlie. You'll be sure and get one. I'm still re-working some molds, but hope to get the prototype done in a couple weeks. It's Corvette weather down here already so my other hobby is taking up a lot of time.
