Thx VMF115.
Yup, I'm aware of that. I wonder what would be the $140 BadCat excl. coming this fall. Could it be a new plane or the very first of the "Super Detailed" Aircarfts announced more than one year ago (with detailed landing gears, engine, gun bays, etc...).

 Time will tell.

EDIT/ : Then it is an Admiral Toys 1:18 aircraft. Who will be the first to post the pics ?

What makes you think the A-10 will sell well at $70, or even at $40? Why not make a smaller, cheaper plane,
Good point. I think if and when an A-10 does appear it will most likely be in 32X, not in 1/18.

I would have to say its about time to see something like this. 8) 8) 8)
Colonel "Madman" Maddox: Let me hear your guns!
Captain Wild Bill Kelso: My what?
Colonel "Madman" Maddox: Your guns! Ack, ack, ack, ack, ack!
Captain Wild Bill Kelso: [fires his airplane's guns] AHHHH!

For me, this is probably the most exciting toy fair yet. Not to be too hard on the other companies, but what makes this year exciting is that Admiral has proven that when they show or tell us something, they deliver. The other companies just cant make up their minds and we never know what they will actually wind up producing......anyone remember 21st's 1:18 A-10 and Zero, gun bay Mustangs, how about the motorized jeep and hummer for the kids?

Keep up the competitive heat Admiral, and may you grow to a huge company without forgetting the little guys

I have to wonder where BBI is this year? They've been awful quiet.

They're always quiet!! I think Mike replied to a question about this year and indicated that they are where they always are...at their showroom off 7th (IIRC). The better to keep prying eyes out of their business!!

How much bigger will this be compared to the BBI F-18?

A couple of inches wider in the wingspan....about two inches I believe.

Around six inches longer in the fuselage.

Somone correct me if I'm wrong.

Yeah...No kidding!! I'm as giddy as a schoolgirl here, and all we have seen to this point is one lousy 1:18 model that everyone knew about and that each of the makers had in production....

Seriously, TKO quit sitting on those pictures you've had for a month and put up or shut up!!

A good friend of mine is a retired Marine corp pilot. He flew RF-4s, and I really enjoy talking to him about the Phantom. What an awesome plane. :D

The photos are coming. It takes a little more time this year to get the photos and to post them up. I am actually at home today with my wife. It is our wedding anniversary and I needed to spend it with her. I am delivering the coverage this year remotely. I am working with 21c today over the phone to get the photos (which were just taken moments ago). The photos need to be downloaded from the camera, up loaded to me, I have to cut them up to fit on AREA-21 and then upload them to the server to begin the new roll out.

Sorry but all this is going to take a little longer this year to get started but rest assured the coverage will happen later today! Ground guys should be pleased to see what is around the corner!

Thanks in advance for your patience and understanding. Hang in there just a few hours more.

Anniversary? Hah, where's the man's priorities. I'm sure the wife won't mind if he spends all day on Toy Fair activities. C'mon man, tell her its a nice day and go out for a brisk walk so you can get some work done.

Happy Anniversary TKO! I told you not to get married at Toy Fair 03 because this would happen to you every year, but noooo... wouldn't listen to me! :P

But since you proposed to her at Toy Fair 02, I guess it all made sense.. ;)
