Admiral/ Bad Cat's new aircraft in 1:18
Well the title is the first bit of news!
Furthermore, for $140 it is a safe bet that it is not an F-5.
However:
The day has arrived in which you will learn the identity of Admiral's new aircraft in 1:18.
However, I have been up since 4am putting the final touches on the Hartmann CL-13 with my brother. It is currently 6:46. We will leave for the show soon. Unfortunately for you the show does not start until 10am eastern time. You have a couple of hours to wait.
Furthermore, the aircraft has been sitting on a table for the last day! But I do not have my camera charged and we do not have time to post pics during the day.
Maybe someone from this site will stop in and take a photo.
I just wanted to say hello from New York and let you know that the aircraft is available for photos if someone could take them. Until photos are seen the aircraft will not be revealed. I think it should be a photo reveal.
Regards,
Jason

With all of the clues Jason gave before, and now the clues from Badcat. I'm thinking it has to be either an A-10 or F4 Phantom. Although no one wants an A-10 more than me (OK Birdog, you win
) An F-4 has many more paint scheme possibilities such as the Thunderbirds and such. So, only a few more hours until we know, but if I were a betting man, I'd say it is going to be an F-4 Phantom. (Thoughts?. c'mon, we've got a few more hours to kill!
)

Well, if it does turn out to be an F-4, then we still have that holy grail of modern aircraft to look forward to, as well!CW4USARMY wrote:What a bitter sweet announcement! I cant wait to get one in Vietnam camo paint scheme!!! (but I sure wish it was an A-10 too!)

Move over F/A-18 and F-16--there's a new centerpiece for the modern aircraft collection
OK, now to figure how to stay patient for the next 10 months
I am sooooo looking forward to this bird! Great choice, Jason! The F-4 is my second favorite jet aircraft! And only a select few (like everyone on the board) know the first
Only about 340 days to go...
