Why so little interest in 1/32 kits?

Wow, that is impressive and a good write-up to boot......man, it sure is tempting to get back to building, after seeing this. The price is VERY good, too. Thanks for this link.

Maybe not. It is way over scale, probably about 1/28th. It looks like I wasted $40.

I am not sure what Jessica Simpson has to do with 1/32 models. The download didn't work anyway....

In taking another look at the title to this thread I realized that I have never (ever) seen a 1/32 scale kit. They are all 1/35, 72d, 76th, 48th etc., but I just haven't seen 1/32 at all. What have I missed?

That is understandable since the 1/32 kits just came out. If you will check out the 21C home page under Area21 listings, they recently had a write up and pictures of these kits....here is the link for your convenience:

The price, as they indicated, is very much lower than other 1/32 (traditionally an airplane scale vs. 1/35 for armor) kits.

I had seen the review. I only built 1/72 air kits so I was not familiar with their history in 1/32. I had built 1/35 armor kits however and simply mis-assumed that the 1/32 referred to was for armor kits. I'm kind of funnel focused on armor....

This doesn't respond to the simpson-spam however.... Where'd that come from?

The weasel guy was a liitle undersized. I think he was actually the radio operator with out a helmet. He looked similar to the walkie talkie guy from the m16 halftrack. The pointing M8 guy was a bit bigger and closer to 1:32. I will try to post a picture of them to jog the memory.

Yes he did seem undersized. The Monogram guys generally were heftier than say the Revell soldiers. Of interest is that the same sculpts Revell used for their 1/35 troopers were used by ROCO, only in 1/87 scale. Just scaled down.... It amazed me when I discovered this several years ago. I hadn't known it could be done.
