invevitable one day, i'm sure. Beautiful, popular and not quite too big. May be the biggest we ever see in 1/18 in fact. I'm hoping i'm wrong but like i said in another thread, after seeing a 1/18 ish B-25, i just don't see it happening.

Now that AT is doing a Kate i have higher hopes for seeing more types like Me-410's, He-219's etc if that size barrier can be broached.

But the Mosquito is a must. In fact, i'm going to change my signature right now.

Oh yes the Mosquito is a beautiful design. What a great looking model that would make. How about it Jason??? :D

And the possibilities!! Different versions easily done. Different markings. There was even at least one civil mossie during WWII. BOAC marked and registered flying ball bearings from Sweden. Oh! the possibilities!!

Since we're on that size, Lets see a Grumman Tigercat! But a Mosquito would be great as well. So many variants and paint schemes.

No need to convince me TTT. The Mosquito is a beautiful plane. Let's hope they build it one day.

Great idea! I think the Mosquito would be a well liked model.

Indeed, we need more from the RAF. The Mossie would be a good friend for the Spit to have. The Spit needs a buddy.

I would love to see a Mossie. I think it's one of the most aesthetically pleasing planes built. We can only hope....

Oh, where did you hear that...?
I have a feeling that if you guys want a Mossie anytime soon you should start collecting 1/32 with the way that scale is going...

You're not dreaming. I remember the discussion as well. TKO211 should remember where it was though.

There have been lots of discussions and wishings about a Heinkel 111 but i'm 99.9% sure it's never been confirmed or even rumoured that one is in the works. Certainly not in 1/18 and i don't even think in 1/32.

It's an aircraft i'd love to see, so my little ears woud prick up if something like that had ever been mentioned. I'd love to be proven wrong though..

What can you tell us about the Ju 88?
Colonel "Madman" Maddox: Let me hear your guns!
Captain Wild Bill Kelso: My what?
Colonel "Madman" Maddox: Your guns! Ack, ack, ack, ack, ack!
Captain Wild Bill Kelso: [fires his airplane's guns] AHHHH!

same unfortunately......i would say it is more likely than a heinkel, being a bit smaller, offering more colour variations and structural mods than the heinkel.

Having said that though the diecast makers came out with a he-111 long before they did a ju-88, so maybe there is the perception that the heinkel is more recognizable, cooler etc.

Admiral is probably our best hope to see either of these planes but i don't know how likely that hope is.

I'd say its the cool looking wings that make the HE-111 so recognizable. IMO it's a really beautiful aircraft from all angles.

I also recall mention of 21st making an Me 110. It seems like it was about 1 year ago. May be dead in the water now. Instead bring on a PBY 5A.
