I guess it goes to show we shouldn't leave our XD outdoors on the driveway...
Yeah, I mean this is taking the weathering thing a bit too far if you ask me. But in all seriousness, I think I speak for all of us when I say we feel your pain Paul.

You could possibly get away with putting in a Mig 15 Box, throw it in a WM bag and say it was broken wedding present - you couldnt find the receipt.

you know what Walton always said - "Damaged goods are marketable goods." Walton 14:3

it will be on the olde aisle in hours. $39.99

I also grieve with you - in this sudden loss of XD

Buy a new one and carefully open the box. Now stuff the deceased into the box, seal it and head to WM customer service. Explain to them that your wife/gf bought it and thought that's what it was supposed to look like.

This plan cannot possibly fail!

The really sad part is that at most Walmarts, the fact that they don't even carry the manufacturer and couldn't get it to scan wouldn't trigger anything beyond a page to the toy department... And I wouldn't be incredibly surprised if at some Walmart, Paul wouldn't end up being able to walk out with a brand new Mig-15 or F-86. Not that I'd recommend trying it, but I wouldn't be amazed...

Hi guys,
Thanks for all the comments on my smashed ME262. I have some pictures of it, and I have shared them with a forum member who is a good friend of mine. I really don't feel like posting them. The plane was more or less cut in half, and alot of the fuselage shattered into little pieces. I had it in a paper bag, but I took it out to take pictures of it. Not sure what I will do with it now. :(

It almost happened to my BBI Mustang HHH. I had it hanging up in my basement and the string broke. It hit the cement floor and nothing happened! Thank god. It tells you of how durable and tough the plastic BBI uses is I will say that. It sucks what happened to you though and I feel your pain because that has happened to me in the past as well.
