I got board and decided to do a little mod work.

Does anyone have some really good pictures of this creature in real life?

toyktdlgh,
WOW! I like you addition of the MG in front with the shields.
I like that better than the original camo green #13.

How did you do that?? What did you for fodder?

LOL, thanks for commenting Mark, I was starting to think no one liked it. I’m like a little kid and always need childish encouragement to get through the day…..at least that’s what my wife always says.

As for the mod, I just borrowed the windshield off of my spare DAK. The nice thing is there was very little in the way of cutting for the adaptation. All I had to do was cut the little extra piece of plastic off the old windshield mounts and the new one just snapped in place. That easy. No glue needed. I can always put it back if I change my mind but it looks much better this way.

I have a publication by Squadron about the Sdkfz. 251 series Hanomag (Armor Series #21) with this particular Stuka Zu Fuss w/ forward MG shield-mount ,.. pictured right on the front cover. I may even do this at some point. ... Thanks for sharing.

Being inspired by toyktdlgh's idea, here's a couple quick pics of my custom job on the XD Stuka zu Fuss:

In the holiday aftermath, I found an S3 Hannomag, discounted to $17 and in a trashed box. Although I really don't need another hannomag, I decided to use this one as a junk vehicle for customization parts.

I painted the gun mount to better match the ambush cammo pattern of the Stuka zu Fuss, pretty much matching the green. Although I attempted to match the brown color, the results weren't satisfactory and thus I left it off, save for a few of the little spots. The improved Stuka Zu Fuss came out looking bettern than I expected and my hats off to toyktdlgh for the idea :D
