Panzer Lehr
Hello,
Actually, the Panzer Lehr unit equates to their training center much like Fort Irwin, CA is used to test and hone the prowess of US tankers. What I find interesting is that they are using the same unit symbol first created prior to WWII -- a stylized "L" which stands for Lehr. Although it had no connection to the atrocities committed by some units, some could nevertheless associate it with wartime memories and call the insignia into question.
