New FOV figure and accessory sets...??

Post by ostketten » Sun Nov 26, 2006 10:42 am

Found these at a local Target, don't know how "new" they are, but it's the first time I have spotted them anywhere. Some of the accessories look like re-packaged items from previous sets like the "war torn europe" set and others. Aside from the 82nd Aiborne figures, they contain barricades, a guard shack, barrels & drums , furniture, a pushcart, and a variety of other diorama type items. Anyway, not a bad deal at $9.99 ea.

Just the same old crappy WWII sculpts from FOV with some of the accessories from the Hobby-released accessory sets. Why doesn't FOV resculpt their WWII figs along the lines of the Romans and Civil War figs? We know they can do a great job on figs when they want to (just look at some of the terrific WWII figs that accompany their more recent vehicles).

I found those at a local target as well. The accessories are GREAT - the same that came in the individual accessory packs - but the old-style FOV figures turned me off. They really need to make carded (or boxed) WWII figure sets with the improved figure style that comes with the vehicles or in the Historical Legends pack.
