Thanks again. The hard edge is the only thing I can pull off effectively. I haven't put in enough time and practice to try and replicate a sprayed pattern by hand. Besides, I figure sticking with the hard edge effect will give me plenty of practice for the LAV I'm reworking.

If at first you don't succeed, try, try again. Then quit. No use being a damn fool about it.

Okay, here's the hitch I modified last night. It's not pretty (I slipped with the Dremel of course), but it works nicely. To make the hitch pin, I used a standard large smooth paper clip. To make the hitch holes, all I did was heat the paper clip, and push it through. It might have come out better if I had used a 1/2" disc versus a 1" disc.

Thanks guys.
One thing I would suggest, is removing the hitch from the halftrack (if it's easy enough to do, I haven't checked yet). It's difficult to keep an eye on all the angles when it's still attached. That's one of the reasons why I cut through the back side of the hitch. My line of sight was from the left, and consequently I cut through on the right.

Just found this, might be a little large, but it looks pretty close.
