Finally Got One

Post by MightyMustang » Thu Oct 19, 2006 1:26 pm

Well guys I finally got my DWK Spit. It only took me forever and a day to get one but finally its in my hands and its a beauty. I've seen all of the 21st Century Spitfire releases and I will say its the best of the whole bunch. The detail and paint job is excellent and it ranks right up there with my BBI Corsair as my 2 most favorite 1/18th fighter planes. That is until the Hellcat comes out next year.

I can see why Roy like this version so much. I'm going to make a few small mods to it and thats it.

But thumbs up to 21st on the DWK Spit. Its a winner and a keeper.

Glad you like the 21c Spitfire! I've been thinking of picking up the DWK, 610 Sq. version just for the sake of getting a repaint, but have been pretty happy with my NKK 118 Sq variant. I totally agree that the 21c Spitfire is one of their better aircraft and it truly captures the look of that classic fighter!

With my experience with UPS I can say they never deliver early, not at least to me anyway. So you might have to wait.
