Help me make a guess ????

Post by VMF115 » Tue Oct 31, 2006 10:41 pm

Ok guys their is one box of assorted 1/18 scale aircraft in at my WM, I have seen it at the garden center on a pallet up high, and Wednesday sometime in the afternoon.
I am going to find out what is in it, the manager is going to wait for me before he gets it down.

I wonder what’s is in them, any new Migs or F-86.?

What would your guess be????

Probably Tropical Stukas and "Bunker Hill" Corsairs, though you could get lucky and find the Chinese "Tiger Stripped" Migs 8) Those have been appearing in the west around the same time as the new armor.

If it happens to be some Flight 19 Avengers, let me know

Could be a few Marineflieger F-104's, Graf Bf-109G's or even the Bf-109E Night Fighter.....depends how much dust/sand/dirt the box top has accumulated to give some indication as to how longgggggggg the box has been in the garden center. Man, wish my local WM had a mystery box....you are a lucky dog :D

Fingers are crossed for you,

Guess your experience is sort of funny and then not so at the same time. I too once had a bitter-sweet moment when I found Migs in my area - the S2 Chinese version. I already had the NK version sent by a fellow boardmember and the Chinese scheme was the plane in the series I did not like and probably wouldn't have gotten even if I didn't have the other Mig. Luckily, I was able to sell a couple to some boardmembers and the rest were bought quickly by other buyers in my area so they didn't take up shelf space for long. Still, I regret not getting a third and selling it on ebay...

No the funny part is after the nice woman at WM took the pallet down from the top self, and after we looked in to the box and I seen the mig-15s and I already had one of those they went back up on to the top self…LOL

They said they will put them out around x-mass LOL

I was so disgusted that I went on line and ordered a DWK spitfire….LOL
it was all good. I was going through plastic withdraws and needed a fix before I went in to a spastic plastic fit, I was hoping I did not have to pay shipping fees but oh well my addiction won over my free will.
