i am following this project with keen interest. I only wonder if you should try to keep things simpler by forgetting about the engine and interior details. That's going to require a lot of extra time, effort and expense. Maybe borrow from the Soviet philosophy of the time and just keep it simple to get it produced in large numbers.
You could always leave the engine area and interior as big open blanks, thereby people could scratch up their own or you could offer them as add on kits at a later date.
The two turret idea is a good one and one i had long ago for a KV-1/KV-2 model as well.
As well, i think you should go with the format that is the least expensive, if that's a kit, so be it. Maybe offer a built up option for those that want to pay for it.
Believe me, i will be interested in all variants you decide to produce t-34/76/85, su-85, su-100 etc) and probably in mutliples, as will i'm sure many others, both now and in the future. Would also be a great item to sell on Ebay to get you wide spread exposure for very little cost.
