Anyone remember the thread about scissors that a member got at Michael’s crafts and used them to creat a corrugated tin roof for a building or hut? I have looked but can not find the thread. thanks

Someone recently told me that if you use the boxes that lightbulbs come in, they make good tin roofs. Already to use, just paint it. I think it was RED that told me that.

At places that sell cardboard boxes some also have huge rolls of corrugated cardboard you can buy whatever length you want; great for roofs, or even a nissan hut or airaft hangar.

Now those buildings are just cool

Did you make them? If so, you've got to up the ante and make a small hanger!

I can't take the credit for those..one of my club members built them, but he got the idea from some buildings I made with corrugated cardboard roofs. Yeah, a hangar is a good idea, I'll get onto it.

There is also a corrugated plastic, same size and type as the cardboard but obviously more durable. I've found it at sign shops, and some box manufacturers.

Here's some I made, the shed is big enough to drive a 1/16th scale tank into, I made the shape out of cheap 'sign' plastic and covered it with corrugated cardboard.

This guy sells the real McCoy...corrugated metal sheets in 1/32nd scale, not really all that expensive either. Just a thought, take a look here...
