Why not wish for a PV-1 Ventura?

Post by der Vogelfänger » Sun Oct 08, 2006 12:15 pm

While we are at it, hoping for a few not-so-popular/known airplanes in 1/18 scale, why not opt for a Lockheed PV-1 Ventura. On the heels of the TBF (yessssssssss!!), the Ventura would be kind of nifty.

Since there are hopes, too, of getting a NorthAmerican B-25- whose span=67'7", length=54'1" and height=15'10", the PV-1 thus would not be out of the size question, either. The PV-1 span=65'6", length=51'9" and height=11'11".

Both airplanes being twin-types would be GREAT additions IMHO.

Food for thought,

I agree with Rouge, give me a harp instead of a ventura.

Is that why they refer to flight levels as "Angels"? :?

I do not believe there is a correlation there.

All right then.....I can't stand the pressure, let's have a PV-1 Ventura  :D

However, you guys are right: the Harpoon WOULD BE great, too!! There is just something about the twin engine bomber/recon/ASW airplanes. (Hummmm, how about an S2 Tracker)

I would go PBM or PBJ though.

Or a PB4Y-2 if we're wishing big. :o
