That's odd. The missle rack went onto my German F-104 just fine. Also, my missle rack only had 3 pegs. 2 up front, 1 in the back.

Are you placing the rack in the center of the aircraft?

Sounds like your rack has two of one type of support (w/ 2 pegs) rather than one of each. Might want to contact 21C for a replacement.

ok, got the camera back.

heres the problem for those that are curious, but dont have the starfighter.

the single square "tab" is the correct one.

and this is the one that does not fit. (not the two versions i have of the starfighter. maybe a previous version was this way?)

im not too troubled by it. fairly easy to fix. just wondered why a different configuration is mixed up.

Dude that's wack, my S1 has the square tab at the front and the two round pegs in the stern and it fits the holes on the plane perfectly.

Yeah, all the F-104s should have the square peg in the front and the two round pegs to the rear. The cross bar is a seperate piece in the missile rack assembly. It seems that when your missile rack was assembled in the factory, they put two rear cross pieces instead of the front and rear ones.
