Missing parts from package.
Hello, I encountered a problem when I purchased an Admiral F-86 from Badcat toys. First of all, I want to say I have ordered from them before and will order from them again. They have been flawless with my previous orders but I ran into a little trouble this time. When I opened the box I realized there were parts missing. I only received the wing and the fuselage. The box only had one styro foam end cap so I think the rest of the parts are with the missing end cap. My questions are what else comes with the Admiral F-86? Obviously there should be a stabilizer but does it come with a pilot and drop tanks as well? Also, I tried to email Badcat but I don't think it worked because they haven't returned my message. I have a bad feeling they can only be reached by telephone but I work full time and attend college full time so they are closed when I get home. Has anyone else received an incomplete Admiral F-86? I really don't think Badcat opened the box for any reason, I think it was an error made while in the production line. Does anyone know of a way to email Badcat so I can get this figured out?
You will probably need to call Bad Cat direct if they aren't responding via E-Mail. It would definately sort out your situation. I'm really sorry about your plight. Nobody likes to get shorted like that. I'm sure Bad Cat will hook you up.

Hopefully they can help you out. The one thing that kept me from ordering all the overstock planes was the huge caveat that all sales were final. I was afraid that all the returns and poor examples would be what was getting sent out. Let us know how you do b/c the overstock prices are great, especially on the AT F-86 which is like 33% off.
Go directly to Admiral for your replacement. They are GREAT!!!
Just be sure to let them know who you purchased from and I think they sort that out on their end.

Yes, I agree, just go directly to Admiral's customer service with a request for the missing parts. I am sure they have a small pile of extra parts on hand for these situations. They were able to help one of my customers who had received two right stabilizers.pilotman wrote:Go directly to Admiral for your replacement. They are GREAT!!!

Airacobra,
The advice you have received from this forum is correct. Email our customer service and we will take care of the situation.
Bad Cat is very good about getting their customer’s issues resolved through Admiral Toys. Matt and our customer service department work closely together to satisfy and resolve any concerns you may have in a quick and professional manner. I think Bad Cat prefers being contacted by phone. If they are like us they, receive 100s of emails per day. Sorting through those emails takes a bit longer then answering a phone.
Bad Cats' discount on Admiral Toys’ products has nothing to do with quality. They have enough in stock and need to make room for new and exciting products from all the lines they carry. Have faith that this aircraft was our production error, not Bad Cats sales policy. Sometimes one will slip through the cracks at our facility. The discounted products are just a good as the original allotment.
Regards,
Jason

Jason, thanks for stepping up to the plate I appreciate it. I sent an email to Admirals customer service as you instructed. It required I reply to a message to verify I wasn't a source of spam so I hope the message got through. The two pieces I have so far look great and I can't wait to receive the rest of the parts so I can display the F-86. Admiral did an excellent job on that model and I plan on picking up the F-86 with the German paint scheme and the ME-262 as well. Keep up the excellent work and great customer service.

As far as I am concerned AT is the only one that has a customer service in place.Airacobra wrote:Can't say enough about Admiral Toys!!!!!!! I received the missing parts and everything looks great. Thank you so much, your level of customer service sets the bar for everyone else in my book.
