Went back to TRU and they had the Paladins. Cool looking vehicle, but it has the same, bland, desert paintscheme and few accessories. There aren't many opening hatches, however.

The FOV at TRU are action grade. Will these be released later in enthusiast grade?

Hey, guys, just placed a seperate post on the IFOR Hummer mentioned above and described the uncanny uniform similarities to those worn in the attack into Iraq, March 2003 by Marine units. Marine Corps = smallest budget and we were issued woodland green mopp suits, most Army guys I encounterd had desert pattern mopp suits... IFOR as I understand it was a police action in Bosnia so I wonder if they were required to don mopp suits at all (I could me mistaken of course) Anyway, I was an Amtracker for 15 years and am beside myself with word of the AAVP7A1 release. Can't find it anywhere here in Pittsburgh... That new tractor (AAV) and IFOR Hummer crew would go together well...

Boy an AAVP7A1 would look pretty sweet in 1/18 scale, huh...

Perhaps the wrong thread, but the Riverpark Target store in Fresno, Ca. has the Matilda, M-16 Gun carriage, M1A1, and M2 with the new paint schemes. The box back shows the Paladin, AAVP and the missile launcher (I have momentairly forgot the numerical designation), as well as the WWII vehicles.

you're referring to the MLRS (Multiple Launch Rocket System) and that will look nice along with the other modern pieces however haven't heard any sightings from board members of it as of yet!

Anyone in the Northeastern US (Va/Pa/Md/De) found either the amtrack or the lav at local stores?? If so, please leave a "heads up".

A search of a few local Pittsburgh Target's and TRU's has only turned up the IFOR Hummer, Matilda repaint, Winter M16 (quad .50 halftrack), Sherman repaint, and 1st run Bradley's and Abrams'.... all action series kits. No LAV 25, M 113, Paladin, MLRS, or AAVP7A1.... or 2nd series M1's or M2's. This "grab-ass, maybe, maybe not" system of distribution gets old real fast. Has anyone actually SEEN or PURCHASED the 113 or LAV????

yes, purchased the "Hammerhead" M901 at TRU the weekend before Christmas, haven't managed to find the LAV or Amtrac as of yet.

FOV - T34 in TRU?

Post by flanker » Fri Dec 31, 2004 1:40 pm

The sales clerk in TRU told me the FOV T34 will be on the shelves in a couple weeks at about 24.99. Did anybody also here this of is this? If so I may wait before paying 41.99.

...FOV is full of suprises lately. I landed the IFOR Hummer, Winter M 16, Sherman repaint, and Matilda repaint at a local Target. I have yet to see anything new at all at TRU and I check quite often.... I broke down the other day and bought the AAVP7A1 on EBAY for 60 bones after shipping so rest assured, they will probably hit the shelves en masse for much less very shortly. I noticed mine is coming from the San Fran area and another post says they were seen elsewhere in CA, perhaps a function of being shipped through Long Beach(?). I suppose they will make their way eastward eventually... very interesting comment about TRU stocking the T 34 soon. That one's out of left field and will be a suprise if it's true...
