Found a few MIgs tonight at the Parmer WM. The boxes looked like they had been sat on and there was some rattling in the boxes like broken parts so I stayed away from these. Still no sign of Avengers here, but I haven't been hunting very hard.

I just got my MIG-15 model in, (thanks raiderad6) What a beauty this model is. The plane goes together really well, and just looks great. It really captures the short stubby look of the MIG-15. :D :D

Got my MiGs today (thanks to Kamikaze). They are great! I'm so glad I don't have to hunt for these, but they would have been worth it. Even though I wasn't hot on the S2 paint scheme, I'm sure I'll be buying it if I find it. Really like this bird.

Is it too soon to start begging 21C to make some changes to the mold, and make a MiG17 next year  Originally, I had planned on buying and extra one of these guys to chop up and do that, but not now. Too nice to go under the ax.

Midwest City and Penns Square Walmart in OKC both had the MIGs but not much of anything else..

Online retailers are saying that they will be getting them in some time around the first of December.
Walmarts distribution sucks!

I'm happy I'm not really hot on Mig 15's! I can afford to be patient on this one....

Mig 15

Post by grockwood » Sun Sep 17, 2006 3:08 pm

I found 2 of the S1 Migs today at the Walmart near Liberty Mo. If I hadn't spent all my money on auto repairs I would have picke one up, though I really prefer the S2 scheme.

Cool that the F-86s have started showing up! How does the figure look? I don't think I'll see them in my area for quite a while on the account of the relative absence of Avengers and Migs and most of the other new stuff, but I can wait on that one given that I'm satisfied with my AT F-86 and now have a Mig to go with it. I'm really anxious about the Halftracks and Pak-40s, however.

AFerg- I think it was the S2 version:

The boxes were stacked on a high shelf @ WM. I was looking for "The Huff", but I only saw the rainbow lines forward of the cockpit.
I will double check and report my findings.

For those guys that PMed me, do you still want the F-86 if it's the S2 version and not "The Huff"?? PM me and let me know.

CONFIRMED - S2 Version as pictured above - 4 found in WM and zero left :D
